Any person who is holding two or more PAN card in India.i.e PAN Card with different PAN Numbers is always bothered by question of how to surrender PAN Card or duplicate PAN Card or multiple PAN card. There are two Process of submitting Duplicate PAN card with Income Tax Department
Option 1: How to Surrender PAN Card or Duplicate PAN Card
First File your application/form with your Income Tax Jurisdiction officer that you want to surrender the duplicate PAN card and this PAN card was issued by NDSL/UTI by mistake with Following Details
Applicant Name as Per PAN Card
Contact Details(including Telephone Number)
Date of Birth as per PAN Card
Fathers Name
PAN to be retained(which you don’t want to submit)
PAN Numbers and Details of PAN Which You want to surrender.
(Check the Address of Income Tax Jurisdiction Officer Address)
Option 2: How to Surrender Duplicate PAN Card
Second option is File online application form for surrender the duplicate PAN card with Following Details
Applicant Name as Per PAN Card
Contact Details(including Telephone Number)
Date of Birth as per PAN Card
